Participating in the scheme is easy!

All you need to do is get in touch with a person who is ‘Accredited’ under the Energy Saver Incentive scheme that can help you use less energy like Green Made Easy.

“Accredited persons under the Energy Saver Incentive scheme are organisations that are accredited to perform work in your home to help reduce your homes energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

This work falls into 6 categories of “prescribed activitiesand ranges from fitting energy efficient light globes to installing solar hot water services.

Any work undertaken for households by accredited persons, like Green Made Easy, offer an identifiable benefit to you, such as a price reduction on a product, free installation or a cash-back arrangement.

 In return, the accredited person will ask for your permission to create and assign to them “Victorian energy efficiency certificates” for the amount of pollution that will be saved by completing the work in your home.

There are 6 categories of prescribed activities under the Energy Saver Incentive Scheme:

  2. Space Heating
  3. Space Conditioning
  4. Lighting
  5. Shower Rose
  6. Refrigerators/freezers
